Versaform offers advanced 5-axis CNC machining to provide precision trimming and hole cutting on all formed parts, meeting typical aerospace specifications. Our in-house machining capabilities also allow us to design and manufacture our own forming and trimming fixtures, ensuring high accuracy and faster turnaround times.
We operate three heavy-duty 5-axis DMS routers for trimming and tooling production, as well as a fully 5-axis HAAS VR-8 — the first of its kind in Western Canada. This high-performance machine helps reduce load on our routers and increases capacity while improving tooling delivery times. All routers accommodate parts up to 60” wide by 48”high, with a maximum length of 10 feet. The HAAS mill supports dimensions up to 64” x 40” x 42.5”.
This setup improves tooling lead times and increases part machining capacity.
